Your first morning belongs on the mountain.
Ski rental delivery in Aspen and Snowmass. Fitting, arrival and the first lesson, brought into the same plan.
Arrange your stay
The right equipment. The right moment.
Aspen Privé coordinates ski and snowboard rental delivery around your residence access and mountain plans. The rental provider handles equipment selection and fitting; Paul keeps the surrounding logistics aligned.
Arrive. Settle in. Then fit.
Arrange the fitting after your party can access the accommodation, with room for a delayed arrival or an equipment adjustment. Avoid building the appointment around an unconfirmed check-in time.
Collect the information the supplier needs for every guest. One person’s height, ability or preferences cannot stand in for the whole family.
Look beyond the doorstep.
Some providers, including Black Tie’s Aspen/Snowmass service, describe in-room fitting, delivery and collection. Confirm your exact address, appointment window and equipment with the supplier.
Also ask how adjustments work during the stay. Knowing whom to call about a boot that does not fit matters as much as the initial delivery.
Delivery or a fitting in town?
Choose delivery when keeping the fitting at your accommodation matters most. A shop can be a better fit when you want to visit a rental team at a mountain base and understand its on-mountain support.
Four Mountain Sports has locations across the four mountains. Aspen Collection describes dedicated fitting at Gondola Plaza and Snowmass Base Village, with storage and transfers. Compare the actual equipment, fitting, support and return arrangements before choosing.
Work backward from the lesson.
Start with the confirmed mountain, meeting point and lesson time. Allow time for fitting, transport and any children’s drop-offs before that first appointment.
Instruction, equipment and lift access can be separate purchases. Check the actual confirmations rather than assuming one package covers all three.
Finish without a final-morning errand.
Agree on the return time and collection arrangements in advance. If you leave before pickup, confirm an authorized handoff with the property contact.
Record preferred equipment as a request until the supplier accepts it. The aim is suitable equipment and responsive support throughout the stay.
Think past the fitting.
The useful plan joins the equipment to the lesson, the journey to the mountain and the rest of the day.
Get the small details settled early.
- Ski dates and first lesson location
- Information requested for each skier or rider
- Accommodation and access window
- Fitting appointment after confirmed arrival
- Adjustment and support contact
- Return time and authorized handoff
A few details,
before you arrive.
Can equipment be fitted at the residence?
Some providers offer in-room fitting. Confirm that your exact address is covered and that access and timing work for the chosen supplier.
Should delivery happen before a lesson?
Plan enough time to complete the fitting and resolve issues before the lesson meeting time. Confirm the sequence with both providers.
Does rental delivery include lift tickets or instruction?
Do not assume it does. Review each booking confirmation to see which products are included and which are separate.
Is rental delivery always better than visiting a store?
No. Compare the convenience of a residence fitting with access to a shop, adjustments, storage, transfers and returns. Ask the chosen provider to confirm these details for your dates.
Let’s plan the first morning properly.
Send Paul your ski dates, where you are staying and the first lesson details. He will help coordinate the sequence.
